Public Notice - Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd

The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (“NBFIRA”) would like to inform members of the public that it has, acting in terms of Section 46 (4) (a) of the Insurance Industry Act, 2015 (“the Act”), appointed Mr. Paul Masie as Statutory Manager of Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd effective from the 1 June 2023.

Please note that the effect of the appointment is that the Statutory Manager is in full management, control and authority of Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd forthwith. Furthermore, all transactions with Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd by members of the public, after the date of publication of this notice, will be recognised only if approved by the Statutory Manager.

The Statutory Manager shall duly inform the general public and all Westlife Insurance Botswana (Pty) Ltd stakeholders of any further developments.
