Public Notice - Business Continuity Services During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Lockdown of Greater Gaborone

1. In light of the lockdown of the Greater Gaborone Zone from 30th July – 13th August 2020 due to increased Covid-19 risks, the Authority informs the public that its office will be observing the lockdown measures as communicated by the Government.

2. The Authority will therefore be operating with skeletal staff within its office and therefore avail limited services to regulated entities as outlined below:

  1. Application for New Licenses: All applications for new licenses may be submitted electronically. 
  2. Complaints Management: All new complaints including the supporting documents may be submitted electronically.
  1. Enquiries: All enquiries to be submitted electronically through info@nbfira.org.bw.   
  1. Technical (IT) Support: Users who encounter technical challenges in accessing or using the RBSS are requested to firstly email helpdesk@nbfira.org.bw.

3. NBFIRA encourages the public to practice precautionary measures as prescribed by health officials.
