Public Notice - Bofus Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd
On the 24th February 2021, the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) withdrew BOFUS INSURANCE BROKERS (PTY) LTD (B.I.B)’s licence to carry on the business of an insurance broker, following its non-compliance with some Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) requirements.
B.I.B has now been given clearance to renew its licence to trade as an insurance broker. B.I.B shall only be permitted to continue with its normal business operations as an insurance broker once its licence has been renewed.
Existing clients of B.I.B are still advised to deal directly with their insurance companies until B.I.B’s licence has been renewed. Should you need further information please contact the Insurance Department on 3686100 or 3102595.
