Public Notice – Cancellation of Licence by Lemon Insurance Agency (Pty) Ltd

The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) informs the public that Lemon Insurance Agency (Pty) Ltd bearing licence number 2/10/535 and having its registered address at Keppils Complax, Botalaote Ward, Serowe has not renewed its license to operate as an insurance agency.

Pursuant to section 9(3) of the Insurance Industry Act, Lemon Insurance Agency (Pty) Ltd’s licence has been cancelled and the operations stand terminated with effect from 12 September 2023.

The effect of the cancellation of the licence is that Lemon Insurance Agency (Pty) Ltd (Pty) Ltd is no longer permitted to carry out any insurance business with their existing clients, new clients or carry out any other service typically provided by a NBFI licensed company.

Clients of Lemon Insurance Agency (Pty) Ltd are advised to contact their insurer for any assistance to deal directly with their insurance companies.
