NBFIRA Hosts NAMFISA Team

NBFIRA HOSTS NAMFISA DELEGATION

 

NBFIRA Information Technology Department is hosting their counterparts from Namibia Financial Institution Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) for the purpose of exchanging information for better performance of both Organisations. The benchmark visit started on the 03rd September 2015 till the 04th September 2015.

 

The purpose of the visit is to afford the Namibia delegation the opportunity of conducting a benchmarking exercise on Botswana on Information and Technology projects and initiatives.

 

Upon welcoming the delegates the Deputy CEO Corporate Services, Mr. Michael Tlhagwane thanked the Namibian delegations for seeing it important to come and learn from NBFIRA RBSS experiences, which he said can be beneficial to both Organisations.

 

The head of the Namibian delegation, Mr. Petrus Kafidi thanked NBFIRA for opening the door to them and promised to put a good word when he gets to Namibia. He also said in Namfisa they had put Information and Technology at the top of their priority areas and are making plans make it central to their operation something that he said is being done internationally.
