Public Notice- Asset Consulting Botswana (Pty) Ltd

Members of the public are informed that Asset Consulting Botswana (Pty) Limited (Asset Consulting), is no longer licensed to operate as an Investment Advisor following the expiry of its license on November 30, 2021. As a result, Asset Consulting is no longer under the supervisory purview of NBFIRA.

The effect of this is that Asset Consulting should transfer all their clients to an NBFIRA licensed Investment Advisor, to be agreed upon by the client and Asset Consulting. In addition, Asset Consulting is prohibited from offering investment advisory services including the on-boarding of new clients, with respect to activities falling under the supervisory purview of NBFIRA.
